Really Existing Public Education
The lower classes
are those people
who are not
allowed to compete
To feel good about perpetuating this
the leaders of public education tell themselves
they are relentlessly pursuing just outcomes
when their actions just fail
to equip the lower classes to compete
In order for all of this to continue
higher education has been repurposed
from preparing graduates to compete
in the marketplace of ideas
to facilitating a competition for attention
