Easy Come, Easy Go Crazy

Life used to be hard
And that’s how we liked it
So much that we used to say
Hurry up and wait
In the understanding that
The waiting is the hardest part
But also, in faith
That it was all worth the wait
 
Life is still hard
But we’ve made it easy to forget that
That’s how we liked it
So, now we just
Hurry up and hate
Because obviously
The hating is the easiest part–
The hard part is remembering that
Since nothing comes easy
We’re left with nothing
