One of my favorite Peloton instructors, Sam Yo
Said the following:
“You don’t get stronger during the workout;
You get stronger when you recover”
 
By workout I take him to mean
Anything that stretches your limits
 
How do we recover?
By resting from the otherwise unceasing workout
Every seventh day on Shabbos
When we recover and get stronger
In order to learn that
There are no ultimate limits
Because the work is our reward
For loving Shabbos
And Shabbos is eternal
