My fellow Americans
Where once we shared a collective conscious
We called the will of the people
That simultaneously tamed and expressed the multitude of egos
We have now regressed to the precipice of unconscious barbarism
Where the progressive left would rule
By fiat of the vindictive superego
Whose one decree–
You must, but you can’t–
Ensures but one response–
I hate you; I need you–
Fueling a nonstop narcissistic battle royale
While the far right unleashes the aggressive id
Where the use of force
Is no longer the last resort
But instead transforms America
Into an all-inclusive resort
That only includes those
Who can foot the bill for private security
