Storytime Is Running Out
All forms of life have an unconscious operating system,
sentient animals have developed consciousness
to extend the unconscious’ operating power,
and human beings have developed language
to make consciousness the unconscious’
most powerful tool
In order for this to be tolerable for humans,
language enables consciousness
to narrate stories
Individuals are considered mad
when their stories don’t match up
with anyone else’s
Civilizations can be considered mad
when another civilization’s story doesn’t match up with theirs
and they decide as a result to destroy it
There is no known cure for madness
It is up to us to change the story
