Don’t Play Dumbstruck; We All Know the Truth, We Just Can’t Handle It

It’s true that some people have all the luck
But it’s not dumb luck that nobody has all the truth

The way it works is that
People get as much truth as they can handle
And the rest of their load is good luck
Which is weightless

There must have been a few people over the years
Who could have handled all the truth
But they had to have intuited that
This would leave them completely out of luck
So instead, they said
Good luck with that

Moshiach will be the one
Who fully grasps the truth:
It may be true that it’s better to be lucky than good
But luck, like time, always runs out
And our time is clearly up
Bringing us to the moment of truth–
We have nothing to lose
Because every loss brings us closer to the truth

That’s just our luck
Another word for which is
Fate
