Pressed on their oft explicit
Sometimes implicit goal
Of driving all of Israel’s Jews
Into the sea,
Western antisemites insist
“When we say
From the river to the sea
Palestine will be free
We imagine a world
Free of Islamophobia, antisemitism, anti-Blackness,
Militarism, occupation, and apartheid”
Because, in their florid imagination
They see a world devoid of Jews
And so, of course, absent antisemitism
Which, presto chango
Solves all of their other problems too
What they forget
In their absolute identification with the totality of the present
i.e. In their schizophrenia
Is that the sea has always parted
And it always will
