Wide eyes scanning the heavens for a sign
Fearful and troubled; feeling much unease
Yet hopeful, in the end stars will align
We seek guidance, of our future unsure
Zodiac horoscopes, tarot cards reading
Diviners and soothsayers, we procure
For chance to see the cloud’s silver lining
Tea leaves, crystal gazing have great allure
For psychics we’re not, a trait we’re missing!
But instead of using these crystal balls
To see a fleeting glimpse of tomorrow
Focus our efforts on what’s true and false
Let our faith in Him continue to grow
Our Maker knows events of tomorrow
No Ouija board can ever tell you
Trust in Him, he’ll advise you where to go
His grace and mercy will always shine through
Instead of tarot cards and crystal gazing
Set your eyes and ears on the written Word
Biblical verses on daily living
Then our fears and anxieties will be cleared
For all these weapons are the devil’s own
Geared to entrap; distract us from our goal
Trick us to lose sight of our salvation
Manipulate us so we lose our soul
