The Truth About Marriage Fuels the Work of a Lifetime

I once heard of a person
In this case a woman
(Though it could just as easily have been the opposite)
Who divorced her husband
Explaining
He wasn’t meeting her biggest needs
And I always wanted to ask her
Did you think your husband was God?
 
Fortunately, my wife thinks I’m merely the man of her dreams
And it’s my job to make her dreams come true
Which I can only do by sharing her faith in God
Who meets both of our needs
So that we have more than enough to give to one another
At which time we can then
Give our gifts to the world
