The only way
God can love us all the same amount
Is by loving each of us infinitely
And the only way
God can love each of us differently
Is by loving us all in an infinite variety of ways
Why, then, all our greed and envy?
As usual, money is involved–
In this case a coin
On one side of which is
More than enough
While on the other side is
Never enough
Life, it turns out
Is a toss of this coin
And, you may be asking
What are the odds
Your coin lands perfectly balanced on its edges?
A million to one
Which sounds depressing until you remember
God is One
So, I’m telling you there’s a chance
In fact, with infinite coin flips
We already know how the story ends
