Love Blinders

Eyes ahead with nothing
to measure the way
to the threshold of beauty in view;
all cerebral systems
paralyzed and forgotten,
yielding to the sight ahead,

such a woman of the crystal sea,
slender arms extended with
a shiny scepter in her tender hand
that glows through the night,

to the beholders of the beauty
blinded by the beacons,
perfumed torches of her lady fair,
cutting through the harbor mist,
revealing the silky lines of the
Goddess of the seas,
the paradise of all seafarers,
the place claimed
by the eyes of the heart,

she shines in all her glory
with her blinding powers
that she has over all.
