**Confession’s Embrace**

In depths of guilt, I bared my soul,
With trembling hands, my secrets told.
I feared your judgment’s piercing gaze,
But to my surprise, you met my maze.

You listened with a patient ear,
As I poured out my sins and fear.
You offered not a word of scorn,
But solace like a gentle dawn.

Your eyes held no condemnation’s spark,
Instead, a glimmer in the dark.
You saw not the monster I believed,
But a soul that yearned to be relieved.

With open arms, you welcomed me,
A sanctuary where I could be free.
You whispered words of grace and hope,
A lifeline in my darkest scope.

For this, my gratitude knows no bounds,
To have a heart that understands.
Your compassion has mended my broken part,
And set me on a path with a renewed start.

Thank you for hearing my confession,
And not turning me away.
You have shown me that redemption’s key,
Lies not in judgment, but in empathy.
