If they were ever only attacking a strawman
there’d be nor real need for the lawman
But the act of distorting an idea
is always a pretext to the taking of Crimea
So, you’ll know it’s a strawman fallacy
when it’s used for ruling the galaxy
“Whither thou goest, I will go” said Ruth;
our last best chance is to likewise follow the truth
And if in this age of the deepfake
the truth is reduced to a keepsake
We will keep it ever close to our hearts
until, one day, this all comes apart
When the truth, once so uncommon
refashions everything that’s befallen
And as our world is made anew
we’ll know at last, like Han Solo, “It’s, true
the Force, the Jedi– all of it, it’s all true”
