My home, my castle
Where my true self I can be
Unfettered and free
Where pretense’s left at the door
Deceit disguise on the floor
This my fortress solitude
Super I’m not, but a dude
I am the captain
Of this ship that I call home
Its four walls I roam
My wish, my word is the law
Everyone here must follow
But then I got wed
That’s when the cookie crumbled
My ego humbled
My beloved’s now the law
She rules with an iron claw
Cautionary tale
You guys thinking marriage too
Here’s what you can do
Never say no, always yes
That’s the key to happiness
But the day will come
You’ll run afoul of the line
Don’t you worry none
