You Welcome Me

Broken and bowed with sorrow’s weight I stand,
Yet in my grief I turn towards your grace.
Fearful and weak, I tremble at your hand,
But in my weakness I find a safe embrace.

No matter my condition, doubts, or fears,
You welcome me with open arms and love.
My gratitude, a river of sweet tears,
Flows forth to you, a gentle, faithful dove.

Though broken, fearful, weak, or filled with pain,
I come to you, my refuge and my might.
In you alone, my weary soul finds gain,
And in your presence, darkness turns to light.
