Your judgment, Lord, is just and true,
A reckoning for deeds we do.
In your presence, all is laid bare,
The secrets of our hearts laid bare.
No hidden motive, no whispered lie,
Can escape your all-seeing eye.
Your scales weigh every thought and deed,
Determining our eternal need.
Not by our own works shall we stand,
But by the grace of your outstretched hand.
Your mercy tempers your judgment’s might,
Offering redemption in the darkest night.
Let us humble our hearts before you,
And seek your forgiveness, pure and true.
For in your judgment, we find our peace,
And in your grace, our eternal release.
