Krazy Lulu

My Master

I have looked the Devil in the eye,
For he met me half way.
He saw the damage I’ve done,
Against my every effort to try,
And spared me the chance to stray,
And my lost state, I did abandon.

Unlike God, he did not let me down,
Unlike humans, he left me not alone.
He provided the strength I need,
And his never ending love did surround.
A happiness for darkness, was I prone,
Especially now that I was freed.

The light enraptures,
Everything within it’s sight,
Caught in a cage,
You are captured,
Stuck in the blinding light,
Forever enslaved to the rage.

But my Master freed me from prison,
Brought me to the safety of the chasm;
The pain freed me from the wrong.
And as the demons sang their lovely song,
I said goodbye to familiar faces,
And familiarized with unfamiliar places.
