Without You

I can’t bear another minute,
 
away from your soothing voice.
 
I can’t stand the fact that,
 
I don’t even have a choice.
 
 
 
I’m left alone, imaging you,
 
how your eyes shine with every smile.
 
Yet, I can’t tell you how much I love it,
 
and it leaves me sad for the longest while.
 
 
 
My mistakes have cost me,
 
I know this is what I have to pay.
 
But I miss you so much,
 
I wish it weren’t this way.
 
 
 
But, I’ll go to bed,
 
with a gentle whisper, and sweet thoughts,
 
just so you know I’ll be happy,
 
because you’re the reason I ever fought.
