Growing Pains Are Physical; Growing Pain Is Spiritual
I had previously asserted that
The only thing bigger than my ego
Is God’s plan for me
This remains the case
But I would add that
God’s plan for me
Is based on my desire
Which dwarfs my ego
Like a star to its dwarf planet
God’s plan for me
Is a map of my desire
Based on my true dreams
And true dreams only come true
When I let go
Of who I think I am
And become who I desire to be
Because my huge ego is so small
And my wildest dreams so vast
We call this growth
