Miles and Miles
For miles and miles ahead of me
The fog so thick I couldn’t see
Onward I go, trusting the Lord
For every day, I heed His Word!
Through storm and night, I hold His hand
By faith I walk where He has planned
Though trials come, I shall not fear
For in His love, He draws me near
When shadows fall and doubt creeps in
His gentle voice speaks deep within
Each step I take, He leads the way
A guiding light through night and day
In trust I walk, my path made clear
For with the Lord, I’ve naught to fear!

Written a few days ago while on my daily 7-mile very early morning walk. It was a tad foggy, so I wrote this little poem while walking - actually texting the poem to myself lest I forget a word or two.
I thought of adding a stanza or two, but I decided the poem is OK as is.
