A Sonnet
In black and white, my world now seems to stand
Like yin and yang, with darkness paired to light
Two opposites in balance, hand in hand
Where joy and sorrow dance throughout the night
The yin within me holds the weight of grief
A quiet shade where shadows find their rest
Yet yang, with all its brilliance, brings relief
As light and warmth rise boldly in my chest
These forces pull, then soften into one,
Neither can exist without the other
In every night, there lies a hint of sun
Joy and sorrow intertwine, like lovers
I keep the darkness, but the light I share—
This yin and yang, my heart will always bear
