Beyond the river, you have gone
Your mission in this life is done
With heroes and immortals now
A laurel crowns your noble brow
An empire you have built with grace
Millions given in your embrace
To worthy causes, day by day
Throughout your fruitful earthly stay
You’ve left us, and we’re sorrowful
And yet we’re forever grateful
For the amazing things you’ve done
Your legacy will carry on
Behind you have left memories
With your scholars, such great promise
Monuments to the frat’s greatness
A shining torch that lights the seas
There’ll be memorials in your name
Obelisks will herald your fame
Your shield is set with steadfast might
Upon the Argo, gleaming bright
Today we mourn but celebrate
Tears, laughter as we congregate
We reminisce and honor you
With brotherhood both strong and true
We honor all you’ve built and done
Your light still shines, though you are gone
Your name will live, your deeds remain
A legacy that shall sustain
Through those you’ve touched, your spirit stays
A guiding torch beyond our days

A tribute to Brod Tony Turalba ‘62. A towering stalwart in the fraternity of many such men. Though gone his legacy will forever remain. No need to enumerate his myriad accomplishments and contributions because it is engraved in our collective hearts.
