Robert L. Martin

Two Souls

Two souls lost in the crowd,
Miles apart but as Cupid’s vow
To shoot his arrow within his sight
From high above and into the light,
To bring the two together to dance
In each other’s arms, a fine romance,
Then to lovers, then marriage as planned,
To the happiest couple in all the land.
Good going Cupid, job well done,
For Valentine’s Day, a day in the sun.

V-Day just around the corner. Thanks for the reminder. 👍👍

I better remember it, or else I'll be sleeping in the dog house
