The Hunger
Never touched before,
She wanders through the night
A child at play in a woman’s body
A target for the hungry
They hide behind dark corners
Driven by urges not seen before
Like her bedtime stories
Of leering wolves with razor teeth
They feast upon little girls
And their silken trembling bodies
They plunge into her like savages
And gloat upon their frightened screams
Unheard in the deepness of the night
Little girl, I cry for you
How can you ever forget
A night like that?
