Resonance

Resonance is like fine wine on the taste buds,
a sweetness lingering as the river floods
through saccharine channels and exotic spice;
o such exhilaration and lovely vice.

It touches and caresses the supple river banks,
warming up each and another among the ranks,
igniting fires in the ovens of the corporal hearts,
following each plan in accordance to the charts.

The melody travels along its glorious way,
and the soul yearns for it to come and stay
and taste the sweetness along its path,
the resonance that it left from the aftermath.

O sweet melody and what you did to the spirit;
the way you came and moved it up bit by bit,
and the way the spirit begged for you to linger
through your resonance from song and singer;
you came and stayed and raised the spirit
and sweetened the river banks as a requisite.
