Stretching Out

Stretching Out

Stretching out over one million, six hundred seventy four thousand, two hundred thirty six, and three quarter miles, my sentence grew tired, because of all the words that were inserted in it to elongate it so it would be able to last throughout the whole one million, six hundred seventy four thousand, two hundred thirty six, and three quarter miles, so it had to contain many words to stretch it out so that sentence would last throughout miles and miles of  territory that was set up to contain all the words that I could think of to make it last, because it needed all the territory in order to support all the words, big words and little words, I must say,  that would be able to sustain themselves throughout all the one million, six hundred seventy four thousand, two hundred thirty six, and three quarter miles that it had to need in order to have enough territory for it to be able to fit, as I had surveyed the land before I started writing this sentence, because I couldn’t run out of space, seeing that the words needed every bit of it to keep going on, because I hate short sentences, the ones that leave you hanging, wondering what was going to happen after the final period, the one that ends everything to soon, because when sentences are cut short, they still have enough energy to last throughout the one million, six hundred seventy four thousand, two hundred thirty six, and three quarter miles, give or take a couple hundred extra or a couple hundred more miles that would be enough to cover all the territory, those vast wastelands that need something like long sentences to cover all what is needed, all those spaces where nothing is happening or nothing is going to happen if they couldn’t be covered up by longer sentences to act as a protecting cover so they can breathe throughout all those lonely miles where you have a vast wilderness with no vegetation or habitation giving it a livable environment in order to give it life that we all need, so we can go on living and stretching out as far as we want to go, because it is fun to cover all those one million, six hundred seventy four thousand, two hundred thirty six, and three quarter miles and see how far we can keep going, because of our thirst for adventure, the kind that takes us over miles and miles of uninhabited wasteland, the kind that we see no trees or anything, which I think would be an adventure in itself, the kind that gives us a feeling of life or death that will come to us when absolutely nothing will be there to sustain our life, that life that we so treasure, but eventually we all have to surrender to in due time, as some of us like to elongate as much as possible, and some like to be adventurous, because a life given up with no adventure is much more thrilling than a life given up due to old age without no adventure to account for, so let my sentence cover all those one million, six hundred seventy four thousand, two hundred thirty six, and three quarter miles that it needs to cover in order for it to come to an ending, which is not enough miles, because I need as many as I can get in order satisfy myself, so I won’t be left longing for more miles that I need to finish the sentence that has been wearing on my nerves, so I better end it sometime, then look in the Guiness Book of Records to see what the longest sentence ever written was, so I better finally finish this one before I run out of space.
