History of a Rock
Atop of Kingly Mountain, away from civilization there is a rock, an insignificant hinderance you will find while walking along the way, but its historic value is extremely significant and compelling.
How did it get there? Was it formed when the spirit moved across the waters? Did it reposition itself when the mountains were being formed? Did the ancestors of Adam see it? Did early man use it for a weapon or a tool? Did it become repositioned during the Ice Age? Did it keep its form? Did the seasons mottle it? Is it a fragment of a bigger rock? Was it ever submerged in water? This is a mystery that no one could ever know.
If eternal man sat by and watched it, he could tell you, but since he is mortal, he can’t. If there were records kept and handed down through generations, we would know. But since the one rock is so insignificant, there wouldn’t be any records. There is only one person that knows the answer; the man who created the stone, and he is not a man but a spirit. If you don’t believe in the spirit, you probably don’t care. If you believe in it, you can find the spirit within you to marvel over the wonderment and history of every rock that was ever created.
