Boldly I Proceed

Boldly I Proceed

I’m a little boy
At his mother’s side
A little boy lost
In a manly body
Who dreams of courage
And manly feats
Of moving ahead and
Finding myself

To leave my toys behind
And proceed with Father Time
When boys become men and
The timid become the bold

When the reaper comes
Knocking at my door
I shall answer in
My Sunday’s best attire
Sporting the badge
Of courage on my lapel
