Beauty’s Beclouding

Lithesome fingers swaying in the sky,
attached to heavenly hands and arms,
attached to the sisters
of the elegant order,
blow perfume clouds
to the stable earth below,
to the air of the lonely man,
into the aperture of his senses
to becloud his mind and soul,
and take over his self assurance,

then bring him back up to the clouds,
his new home, a new place in his mind,
a ground made of shifting sands
and nautical earth
as he drifts forever in a sea of love
never to return to his self.
