An Ode to Botany’s Handiwork

An ode to botany’s sacred cycle,
The season of its resurrection.
The time for us to til the soil,
The time for us to plant a seed,
The time to look for the new life,
The time to give thanks for its success,
The time to nurture its growth,
The time to wait for its fruition,
The time to harvest for Autumn’s feast,
And the time to give thanks
Unto the divine workings of botany
And the secret way it works for us.

This was written for the Belt and Beyond.
