Aesthetics Lesson

For choral blending, think of music’s refinement
and refine it with your voice and its employment.

Think of it as a wounded bird my precious child
and patch the wounds with compassion all the while.

Go into the song dancing on the sweetest air
and join in with the others with tender care.

Listen to how they blend and so ye shall blend
with your mind on precision until the very end.

Bind yourself to their voices and feelings
and ride with them under the sky-high ceilings.

Let the love of God and music into your realm
and let the music and His influence overwhelm.

Let the softness soften you and make you calm.
Savor the calming with your voice and your all.

And then all rise together with a rousing din
into the vortex of the tornadoes as they spin.

Then all ride together on a rainbow drifting slowly
below the upward skies in the heavens most holy,

singing together hymns of the imperial angel choirs
flying with the wings of sound until all motion expires.

Sing ye children with thy hearts open wide
and enhance the sound with thy voice in stride.
Sing ye children with thy thoughts so purified.
Sing, sing, sing, and let the heavens ring.

I got inspired listening to my friend Danny's daughter singing in a choral concert last night.
