Leprechauns in Purple
Protesters in the days of ever now
With rebel faces and wrinkled brow,
Insubordinate of the normal kind,
Out of sync from the days behind.
Dressed in purple without the green,
Rebellious to the old St. Patrick theme,
Hopes of changing colors to no avail,
Barking up a tree ever destined to fail,
Although a good try Leprechaun so bold,
Maybe the next eon when green becomes old.
