Evil on a Sunday Morning
At the beginning of the Christian Holy Week
and the Jewish Passover celebration
missiles rained down from the sky
killing scores of innocent Ukrainians
and confirming that evil still abides in this world
despite our best efforts to erase it.
Written in memory of those who have been injured or killed by Russian treachery
