Heal and Thrive Far Beyond 2021
With the belief that all things
must pass
A never ending nightmare
made a surreal life in all of us
Kept us distant from each other
From all the ones we dearly love
ever
The year 2020 like the devil
incarnate
Stalked us in all avatar forms it
create
More ferocious uglier than the
ones before
Alas shall come to pass... will be
no more
Fervently we hope in 2021
covid 19 gets nowhere not even
in hell (Heaven forbid!)
Not be anywhere never again as
paradise earth gets well
As always in our life we turn our
energy to faith hope and love
Virtues in the heart of
humankind a gift from above
Faith in the truth hope that love
is perpetually there
The encompassing kindness we
have for each other
Will keep our faith our hope alive
No matter when and where
despondencies arrive
Good things we wish to be
indeed will be coming
As we let go of all the darkness
light shines the road to
healing
Upon us is waiting a miracle
this new year
Our heroes burned the candle
at both ends successful made
clear
The vaccines will free
us from the core of fear from
isolation
And back with our families
friends in joyous celebration
Not letting our guards down
we stay safe in our well–
being
Try to banish the dark forces
that yet are lurking
We gather evermore our courage
at the very base strong in
believing
Sharing loving caring knowing
better times are in the offing
We continue to ask for
guidance from above... we pray
We continue to heal and be
whole again... that we may
In body and spirit with a new
refreshing outlook in life
Despair left behind embrace
happiness longed for we strive
That we may be together again
the old fashioned way dancing
The dances of life of laughter of
joy of gratitude in community
of caring
Without a shred of doubt
paradise earth will thrive once
more... ever brighter
And continue to be far far
beyond 2021...ever grander
