our garden of eden our God’s little acre

underscored with certainty the passing of time...
cherished memories of life the markers
of the space from alpha through omega
towering peaks of Mount Olympus
where gods lived where Zeus reigned
a gateway to a mythical immortality
chronicles of bravery with a deep sense
of human resilience spirits pregnant
with ancient mosaic of life’s endurance
of beauty heroic pursuit’s grand adventure...
stood out the Argonauts their seeking of the Golden Fleece
inspired all the world’s seekers of truth in history
mortals humans they were were herculean
spiritually strong centered accepting
our garden of eden our God’s little acre
...paradise earth floating in the boundless vast space
underscored with the certainty and passing of time...
cherished memories of life the markers

the river by the valley where everything flows... fireflies flit in all directions
seeking their mates to connect with immortality
like the continual coming home of Helios
