April blossoms of hope
“... when robins appear, loved ones are
near...” and that’s a “bluebird of happiness...”
April blossoms of hope
i saw a robin
and a bluebird
sharing laughters
with April butterflies
and a few young grasshoppers
hopping about in the meadow
as the wind breeze lightly
over a rocky shallow creek
joyous critters heard further down
yonder where other spring denizens
enjoy the time with the flowers blooming
in their dress codes of the season
lovely wonderland of fields of crocuses
daffodils and daisies under a bright sky
although a fool’s day is a twilight near
nothing more joyous than blossoms of hope
a moving forward stage in our life’s journey
energies of renewal mind body and soul
shedding our wintered body of leftovers
a springtime of cleansing of fertility
dance and sing with the robins bluebirds hopscotch with the eager grasshoppers
the love energy of the sun all around us
fly with the butterflies this April month of hope
