Whispers of Deceit

In the quiet shadows where whispers dwell,
A lie is born, a truth to quell.
Trust once strong, now fragile and thin,
Hearts are broken, where do I begin.

The eyes that once held warmth and light,
Now cast a shadow, dark as night.
Words once sweet, now bitter and cold,
A story of deceit, now silently told.

In the garden where trust did bloom,
Now lies the scent of betrayal’s gloom.
A friend, a brother, a heart so dear,
Lost in the echoes of a whispered fear.

Passive waves of anger rise,
In the wake of deceit, trust will die.
Yet hope remains, like a distant star,
To mend the wounds, to heal the scar.

For in the end, truth shall prevail,
And trust, though shaken, will not fail.
A lesson learned, a heart made wise,
In the dance of truth, where love will rise.

In the tapestry of life, threads may fray,
But with time and love, they find their way.
For trust, though tested, can be restored,
In the embrace of truth, hearts are adored.

So let us cherish the bonds we hold dear,
And mend the rifts with love sincere.
