Get Up!
When fear sets in and it gets you down,
It’s quite alright to wear a frown.
When love fails and sends you astray,
Just slow things down and go day by day,
You may feel weathered and torn,
And regret the day that you were born,
Slow down any thoughts of regret,
And recall that nothing in stone is set,
Life is moment to moment, filled with change
Time provided to take the pieces and rearrange
Past experiences often are hurtful to recall,
Use courage and move on, arise from love’s fall,
Stand with pride and see how beautiful you are,
Move onward, happiness is not far,
Get up, Get up, and move on, out of bed,
Another dream is just a step ahead.
