First Comes Spring

The order is not the first thing,
Idea is that first comes spring,
Then summer and then the fall,
And winter is last of all.
Spring with its rains from above,
Is like the grace of a new love,
Summer, when hotter days come,
Is like being in love and then some,
Relationships are both hot and cold,
On and off, some stay new,
Some grow old,
Never, ever let one go.
Fall weather gives way to change,
A time to gather and rearrange,
For change is good,
Relationships are as they should,
Giving way to something new,
May be hard but necessary too,
When winter comes as it will indeed,
Only then is your heart in need,
For it signals an end of a season,
A time for change within reason,
Memories of love last forever,
In them, relationships stay together,
Time is but a moment in the present,
Forever is timelessness assent,
There, we can always be,
Close and near, forever we see,
Love is a precious thing,
It makes the heart sing,
Even though winter has begun,
Rising moon and rising sun,
It is a new season to look for,
To reminisce, to adore,
To recall what is past,
For Seasons come and go,
The known we know,
Is as endless as time, a gate,
That each of us will necessitate,
In time for eternity’s sake,
So we love and wait,
The order is not the first thing,
Idea is that first comes spring,
Then summer and then the fall,
And winter is last of all.

I think our life can be compared with the seasons of time.
