One day, on a trip to Victoria, where I sometimes go,
I spotted this man, who was dressed in red,
Standing at the side of the road,
So I pulled over,
And this is what he said,
Ho, Ho, could you please give me a lift,
My sleigh is getting repaired, oh, dear,
My reindeer have scattered,
And sadly this special time of the year,
Astonished and in great dismay,
I said, “Of course!” What else could I say,
He said, “If you help me, there is still plenty of time!”
“Lots of children to help, if you don’t mind.”,
We can still get my things done,
The evening has not yet begun,
So he reached into his pocket and sprinkled some dust,
And what happened next I shouldn’t say,
But has me baffled, even until this day,
Now a Christmas miracle happened a long time ago,
But I still recall it and just want you to know,
Best wishes and may all your dreams come true,
On this most blessed Christmas night,
May God’s blessings make all things right.
Peace and love,
