A Promise from an Elite
Tell me you’ll love me forever
Make me a promise,
Tell me you’ll stay at my side,
For as long as I live,
Forget and forgive.
All I need is a promise from an elite.
If you can walk at my side,
Make me feel right,
It would be the greatest thing
A reason to be,
So happy with thee.
Hold me in your arms so tight
Be with me in my dreams tonite.
Let us fly to the heavens above
And there lie in a state of love
All I need is a promise from an elite.
Say kind words that praise,
Goodness in each we can raise.
Living and reaching a goal
For me is having you always to hold.
Words cannot describe,
How happy you make to be alive,
I feel like as warm as the sun,
I know... for a new day’s begun
All I need to be,
Is a promise from an elite.
