Strength and Peace
The Eagle and the Dove
Within each man, two natures fight
The eagle fierce, the dove at ease
One claims the sky, one offers peace
Together bound in shared birthright
Some rule with might, their voices loud
They seize the sky with piercing eyes
Their iron will commands the prize
Unyielding, proud, they stand unbowed
While others seek a gentler way
With mercy’s touch and outstretched hand
They heal, they soothe, they understand
A guiding flame through night and day
Yet both must blend, as fate has willed
For strength with grace is pow’r fulfilled
