Cast those souls to seas of slumber,
Just past the gates of vacuity,
So they may sail a clipper, swift,
Beyond horizons to nullity.
Nullity holds no love or hate,
No fiery pit or pearly gate,
Nothing gained and nothing lost,
No pipers to pay, no matter the cost.
What peace is there in forever after?
What hope is there within that plight?
Can we trade an unseen future
For none at all, … is that our right?
