Agree to Disagree

There’s so much politics in politics today
And the bull that they feed us, it ain’t hay.
The candidates they offer have seen a better day.
Where did they get these people, anyway?
 
The right and left, I been there and done that,
And through the years, for one, I went to bat;
There was one other, to whom I tipped my hat.
Now I walk the middle road, and that is that.
 
They say, “The System’s Broken”, I don’t agree,
But that is what is so right, about Democracy,
You can agree to disagree, that is your choice,
But it has failed, when the voter has no voice.
