TO BE...continued Part 9

Soaking in the Rain

It’s raining and could be my tears
Beating down on metal and drowning fears.

Fears of aloneness, which really I love
Now that my love has returned from above.

To hold me and love me in the night
To stay by my side through this plight.

Not knowing where to turn for answers
Questions unformed but like dancers

Go waltzing through my mind at all hours
Reminding me of the might power

Of love to conquer death and distance
To mend a broken heart with patience.

Patience to see I’m swirling around
In a big pool of emotions just found.

Forgotten heart beats of ecstasy
Rumbling from the depths inside of me.

Not shaking and screaming to get out
but rolling and waving all about.

Filling in deep valleys dug by pain
So my heart settles to soak in the rain.
