Hello Sunrise, with your red ball of fire, peeking over the horizon, leaving the clouds pink,
My heart is a good heart, It beats strongly And works hard, To keep me alive. My mind is a good mind,
The dance of fear, Of not being enough, Stops and starts. The unknown, an Uncharted sea,
One year since I traveled to paradise. One year since I laughed and danced with friends. One year since I watched
Thoughts flicker like twinkling lights, ride them across the sky. Embrace your dream,
Driving through the small towns of America, children of all colors playing in the streets, some with tattered clothes
Time passing by now In a blink of the eye, In the clap of a hand, In the chirp of a bird, In a flash of light
At that magical time When the yellow moon Sets, And the pink mist Of dawn,
A path with heart Is full of love Which makes us right Brings in the light And chases the dark.
Yellow finches Line the bird feeder Against Spring’ s canopy Of green and purple tapestry. Back and forth they go
I do believe, to give to others lends meaning to our lives. To be there
Just a small part of me wants strife to go away, to return to a kinder time. Am I just losing courage? Life is draining me,
Half a world away, I walk a narrow, stone path. In the rice fields, the Balinese people
Life is like a dream A star studded sky A blink of an eye Oh, how life slips by. Life is like a song
Red bird perched on a tree limb laced with snow. So happy to see him and the joy he brings.
