Hot embers on a blust’ry arctic night
Hardly a flicker, not a star on sight
Horned horse in my dream, unicorn so white
Pow’r and gentleness; signs the future’s bright
Hot beads flow slowly down my furrowed cheeks
Hard rhythms clock my gait; I keep abreast
Horn-rimmed glasses fall down my heaving chest
Fast he runs, I keep pace as the owl shrieks
Hot pursuit ends; I mount the one-horned steed
Hard work pays off, so to in my real world?
Horn held tight, we galloped, a spirit freed
On the horizon, the sun peeks, herald
Of joy and hope, signs of my new found creed
Of my new love, future I now behold!
