Original Script

"Every man is a diary in which he writes one story while intending to write another. His humblest moment is when he compares the two."
— Hugh B. Brown

They met first day of school
He sat next to her in chemistry
A friendship developed instantly
Love followed; seems to be the rule!

In no time they’re inseparable,
Morning, night they were together
Each moment sublime, it’s like no other
Each and every day, amazingly incredible

Few years later they tied the knot
Three wonderful kids, success in life
Full of accomplishments, and no strife
Their love story’s out of a Hollywood plot!

And now in life’s autumnal years
Blessings – that’s all they ever had
They’ve even forgot how it is to be sad!
Only smiles and laughter; never any tears

***

That’s the life I have dreamt about
A long time ago, when I was but a child
When hopes were high, and the future smiled
But quite often dreams expire, without a doubt!

Alas! That life belongs to someone else
But then my own didn’t turn out too bad
There’s joy and laughter, although at times sad
Woes and strife; but there were many happy spells!

Sadly, my story didn’t follow the original script
It’s been meant to be a wild ride!! cradle to crypt!
