When life’s problems overwhelm, I’m sad and blue
As I watch happy, lucky folks; I’m green with envy
At times I’d see red; for at the world, I’m angry
But my heart’s never black whenever I’m with you
For you, my love’s pure, white as ne’er trodden snow
Assuredly, my desire’s red-hot as the crimson sun
Yet soothing as the silvery moon when day is done
And my heart’s at peace, bluer than deepest indigo
When I’m alone, my mood is grey, the sky overcast
But with you, orange flames fire up my whole being
I feel special; I wear the purple robes of a mighty king
The golden rays of the midday sun forever shall last
When I’m around you, and oh! You smell of lavender
I know we’d be together; no one can put asunder...
