Icarus

The way to a man's heart is...

The way to a man’s heart
Is through his stomach
Or so the saying goes
But things are seldom
So simple as that

Some men it is true
Are ruled by
Their appetite
For a simple bowl of stew
They too will sell their birthright

Others however are driven
By still more base desires
A taut derrière and shapely thighs
Will set their hearts afire
For these lust and love are true companions

Some it can be said
Have more delicate desires
A warm bosom and a gentle tongue
Will melt the icy path
That will lead to their hearts

Still others  yearn for passions flames
Drawn to those whose desires driven them
They will given themselves completely
To engage with their equal
Iron sharpens iron and love is formed

The way to a man’s heart
Is not the same for all
A heart, a home A bed, a book
Each man is unique
Learn to read your own
